The day of nirvana
Tomorrow is Vesak day. With practically 42% Buddhist population, this day, which is the birth, enlightenment and passing of Gautama Buddha, is a Singapore holiday.
Since it is already school holiday here and Vesak falls on a Thursday, Sallie and I decided to take time-off from work this Friday as well to have sometime
Coincidentally, tomorrow also happens to be World No Tobacco Day. Go smoke-free, goddammit!
