Uwian Na, Uwian Na!

Starting April 5 ay bibiyahe na 3 times a week ang Tiger Airways papuntang Pinas from here in Singapore. Although sa Clark ang lapag, excited ang karamihan sa mga Pinoy dito. It's the advent of budget airlines na papuntang Pinas.

Don't expect the same perks like the regular airlines like hot meals, though you can have it by paying extra. Anyway, I'm sure most of us think that a meal is totally unnecessary for a 3-hour flight. Kung pwede ngang sabit eh, para ka lang natrapik sa EDSA.

It would also be good for our economy (though I doubt Lucio Tan is singing the same tune). That is, if we can sell our country as a safe place to frolic. With budget airlines, we can expect more tourist movements coming from Asia. It will be a boom for tourism especially on the northern part of Luzon.
